Welcome to Phoenix Explorers.

Since the foundation of Explorer Scouts in 2002, we have been providing the young people of Leighton Buzzard and surrounding areas with the skills for life every Thursday evening, from our home at the 1st Leighton Buzzard Scout Group.

We host 30 young minds each week aged 13.5 to 18, who engage in everything from rifle shooting to volleyball, crafting to cooking. Inspired and driven by the ethos that “Every child deserves the best possible start in life and the support that enables them to fulfil their potential”, we shape and deliver a rich, inclusive programme that supports every aspect of a child’s development – physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual development. Our goal is to nurture confident, compassionate young people who are prepared for the wider world.

We share a strong unit ethos that promotes a culture of connection, inclusion, respect and value for everyone in our community.
